can choose from the largest fabric, leather and vinyl selections
anywhere. Our craftsmen can also fix any structural problems,
and refinish the wood trim before reupholstering your piece

Refinishing
Service
In our finishing process PVI uses only the
best quality lacquers. We specialize in on-site refinishing
and restoration. The materials we choose are environmentally
friendly, non-toxic and non-flammable. They are also very low
odor, allowing us to do most jobs during regular business hours.
This helps us pass on a lower rate as we don't have to pay employees
to work extra late nights and/or weekends.
OUR REFINISHING PROCEDURES:
50% / 75% Filled Grain Finish
• Floors and surrounding furniture
are covered up or removed, if possible
• Surface is cleaned to remove
contamination
• Special particle filters
are positioned removing 99% of any airborne particle during
spraying, as well as most overspray
• Old finish is sanded off
by our vacuum system, collecting all dust particles into a canister,
leaving a dust free finishing environment
• All repairs that did not
come out in sanding are done at this point
• The proper quantity of stain
is then applied next
• Water based sealer is then
applied with sanding and cleaning between each coat
• Top coats are now applied
with sanding and cleaning between each
100% Filled Grain Finish
• Same procedures as above
except we apply more coats of lacquer and wait 72 hours to do
a multi stage polishing process
• Prices can vary based on
structural damages, veneer separating, etc.
• Restoration does not include
removal of original finish. It includes cleaning, staining,
and sealing with lacquer.
